As we all know we continue to move forward in our times of technology on this Earth. We started out with the basic cell phone to the touchscreen to phone to what we are going for now which is hooking up a brain to a computer. This is really complex technology. In fact it is now being used on two people. There is good for what came come from this there are people with Lou Gehrig’s disease who now can surf the internet with just their brains. The surgery is complex they normally would run a wire through your vein into your brain that is connected to a computer like system that is implanted in your chest that will send basic information from your brain to the computer causing the actual computer to move and do what the person says simply by thinking. I think this is a great future for what we have in the long run with technology. The goal would be to finally get to the point where people who are paralyzed can finally do movements and walk with just the thought of your brain telling your muscles what to do. This is also what we see with Elon Musk he is trying a thing called Neuralink which is like this but it causes four holes to be drilled into the brain and the chip to be implanted there are strands that are thinner then hair that will be implanted on the brain of humans this will allow people to control things with their minds and allow them to change their outlooks on life giving more uses for people with disabilities but this also comes into play with AI and changing our brains and connected them to the computers there can be some down fall to all this and in how much do we want our brains being hooked up to a computer but also I think the benefit out weighs the bad that these brain developments will help people with body functions and brain functions. I’d like to see where this takes us in five years. There are conspiracies that this can’t work and that Elon Musk is just staying this to the public to get a rise out of them but I truly think that if we can do this the benefit would be great.
